Louvre and Jardin Des Tuileries (Part 2)

So you wanted more eh? Well, then here is some more of Napoleon's "apartment" which might I add is a gross understatement of this place and it's size.
No question where the overcompensating complex stems from.

His dining room.

From a tapestry that may have once hung on his wall or ????

Arguably one of the most beautiful vanities in the world.

Outside the Louvre. The eiffel tower is right in that open clearing in the bushes, but totally didn't show up in the pic. =(

After the Louvre we walked back through the Jardin des Tuileries and it's famous green chairs around the ponds.

Oh ya know just chilling with my feet up in the Jardin des Tuileries after a long day at the Louvre eating a macaroon. I hate myself right now looking at this picture. But, it seriously was pure bliss. I think holding my kids for the first time and my wedding day may be one of the few days that rate higher than the one I had on October 22, 2011.
