Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris

We stayed in the Latin Quarter during our stay and I would highly recommend it. The nightlife is fantastic and this place just happens to be right around the corner.

We had been in town about an hour and hadn't slept since the previous night, but we were ready to go and see it all! First stop? Notre Dame.

The best part of when we went was that there was a service going on at the time and we heard the most angelic boy's choir singing. The soloist was a little boy (who we originally thought was a woman) who sounded like....well, an angel. It was an experience and voice I'll never forget.

Remember this Jen? We did this in honor of you and grandma and grandpa. For everyone else, this is the exit door of the Notre Dame and I hate inside jokes so  here's the story....Ten years ago, almost to the day, my cousin Jen and I took a picture in this exact spot while we were backpacking through Europe. To this day my grandparents have that picture framed in their home. So, that's the story.
