Musee Rodin

I LOVED this place. Rodin's museum was in an old house or hotel (can't remember, sorry) that he loved and said he wanted his work, as well as the work of one of his student's, to be showcased in after he died. Once again, I did not buy the headsets because I just wanted to experience the art for myself and photograph it. My mom should really be the one adding captions here, because I know very little about it. So, I will put in explanations where I can and for the rest I will let you scroll and enjoy the art for yourself as well.
His Signature engraved in one of his statues in the garden. I do remember seeing that most of his work was not originally cast in bronze, but that was done after he died....I think. =)

Probably his most famous piece "The Thinker", but you knew that already.

The back of the house. There was a beautiful garden with statues placed throughout.

Kimberly! I know this one! Isn't she pretty??

And me. This may be a good time to mention that the blow dryers over there are horrible. They have no pressure and blow out insanely hot, weak air. I obviously had some issues while I was there. Now that you know, you can keep scrolling and stop judging me. I am fully aware of the frizz situation occurring on my head, but there was nothing I could do.

Probably his second most famouse piece "The Kiss" taken from underneath.

I loved this one. It's the hand of God on one side and Adam and Eve coming out of it on the other.

A view of the garden from one of the windows inside the museum.

The light in this place was beautiful. I have no idea what the statue is called or what it means, but I loved how it looks bathing in the light.

I do know that this female model was pregnant at the time unbeknownst to Rodin and at first he felt very uncomfortable with that. Later, he decided it was ideal and beautiful. I agree.

My gorgeous mom.

A portrait of the man himself.
